Huawei is a global leader in multinational networking and telecommunications equipment with an extensive range of products including mobile phones, tablets, wearables, broadband devices and home devices. This Chinese telecommunications company has been manufacturing mobile phones since 1997.
To create an exciting, engaging and easy to navigate campaign landing page, to promote the new H9 smartphone and the stylish Huawei watch.
How do we encounter similar situations and transform that view into something exciting and fresh, enabling us to see the world from a different perspective?
We wanted users to share their new experiences with us, and enter a competition to win two of the most exciting and innovative products in the marketplace, the Huawei P9, made in conjunction with Leica, and wearable item, the Huawei Watch.
We were also tasked with creating banners for Facebook and the interactive landing page.
For the landing page we also were asked to incorporate a video of the winners of the competition and their works.
What We Did
We created the campaign landing page for the Huawei mobile moments smart phone photography competition. It features a video of the five winners were chosen for the smart phone photo competition, involving different categories including: Nights & Lights, Black & White, East Meets West, Colour & Style, and People and Places. Users were able to click on a view high resolution images of the competition entrants, and cast their votes. Five photos from each category that received the most likes were then decided upon by a panel of international judges. Prizes included the Huawei P9, co-engineered with Leica, a device which is re-inventing smartphone photography. And also the Huawei watch, a classic timepiece, built to last, beautifully designed and enabled to pair with your Android phone or iphone. The page featured a video of the contestants and their winning photographs in a responsive website featuring beautiful banners, eye catching images, and demonstrating the superb quality of the H9, made in cooperation with Leica.
